It is said that teamwork makes the dream work. The new Board and Officers of the Alumni Association came up with their own battlecry: T.E.A.M.! The acronym T.E.A.M. stands for Together Everyone Achieves More. The power of teamwork was demonstrated in our last 2 big projects, namely: the Post-grad last year and the Fun Run this year. I believe that a team's success can always be attributed to teamwork. Together we can leave a legacy and perhaps turn out to be the dream team, especially for the young and up-coming members of the Alumni Association. Success is never a solo flight. Rather it is a "two-gether" effort.
In the last Board/Officer meeting on August 22, 2011, it was very encouraging to hear every member of the team committing to collaborate and support each other to work “two-gether” on future projects. Bright ideas and-of-the-box thinking were brought to the table for discussion. The creative juices started to surface that got everyone excited to move up. Different committees were formed where the Chair/Co-Chair were given a free hand to choose their team mates/members and their future project(s).
All Chair of the different committees and their members will be proactive. Meaning, they will come out with their own plans, subject of course to the approval of the Board. This is OUR team who will serve the Alumni till 2014. And if we work together, there is nothing that we cannot achieve.
